Why Studio ignores new translations added to blank target segments when importing from bilingual review file?

Hi, 
 I do not understand why Studio does not import new translations when importing bilingual files. 
 Is there some thing wrong with me? or it is a standard? And can any one offer a solution?

Hello Mostafa, 
 
Need a little more information here. 
 
- what version of Studio? 
- what process are you using for the bilingual review (the app or the built in batch task)? 
- Did you do any of the translation at all or is the file completely translated in the Review file? 
 
Generally this process is intended for light editing and not translating complete texts, but it should still work if the file is prepared carefully with certain limitations in mind.

When you prepare the files do you copy source to target before you export for bilingual review? If you do and you still have problems then I really only have two suggestions. The first is to review this article as it tried to cover all the reasons people can have problems with this feature:

My second suggestion is that if you have memoQ and it's done easily then use it for this scenario. In order to get your work done you're not forced to stick with one tool over another... if you have several then use the best one for the job. This feature was never intended to be for people translating without a CAT. It was intended for reviewing a translation without a CAT.
