Hi Thomas Weber,
The problem is that Windows (and therefore Studio) consider the thousands separator for French to be a space. If you change all your numbers so that the thousand separators are a space then it will work correctly. I'm not sure what the correct ways to write these in French is, but a simple google around suggests that they should be a space and not a period.
You can use the SDLXLIFF toolkit to change the source numbers in your files so the thousands have a space instead of a period, or make the changes in the original source file.

I'm pretty sure that once upon a time you could also change the regional settings in windows to resolve this issue, but this doesn't seem to work anymore. So I think your only option is to change the source, either in the SDLXLIFF or in the original source file.
Regards
Paul
