Trados 2017 not processing any files

 Yesterday I upgraded to Trados 2017 from the 2015 version and I am already sorry I did :-(.  I select my file for translation, and right after I choose my source and target languages the pop-up window does not move on to the next step where you choose your TM. This happens with every file. Please, can anyone help me?

    Hi ,

    I've seen this reported a couple of times but have not seen a resolution to it yet as it seemed to have sorted itself out.  So maybe we can try a few things:

    1. Make sure you are not using an old Studio 2015 default template for your work.  If you don't know what I'm referring to then you probably are not.

    2. Restart Studio 2017.

    3. Reset Studio.  Rename this folder (just add _old to the end or something, it's not important what you rename it to) and restart Studio:

      c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14.0.0.0

    4. If all else fails then create a Project instead of using the single document workflow.

    If you try these things and it still doesn't work then please log a support case.  For an installation issue like this you have a route to support by using this link:

    Just fill in the form and submit it. Make sure your email address is entered correctly or nobody will be able to get back in touch with you.
