Discrepancies between analyses made with the same computer

Hello, I have another analysis related question. I have performed an analysis on a package, then divided it bewteen two translators and ran two different analyses on these two batches I created for the two translators. The main analysis I performed on the whole package is different from these two different analyses I did later. I know that cross file reps are not going to be the same because they don't have all the files, but why are there discrepancies between translator A's analysis of a given file and the package analysis for that same file? The computer and version of trados used to make these analyses were the same. Thank you very much!

  • But this should clarify the trouble...
You do not analyze the file alone, but together with other files. The files ion the whole package deliver different picture as some of the files taken out of the package.
To compare the analysis results exactly, analyze the SAME files within the package, as those which go to the translator. Only then you can compare the analysis results, as only then they will be based on the same conditions. For now the results are based on totally different conditions.
