problem opening packages in Studio 2017

Hello,

I have a problem opening any package I receive for translation ever since I installed Studio 2017. Even after I installed the SR1 package, I'm still facing the same issue. Every time I try to open a package I receive the following error:

"The process cannot open the file ... because it is being used by another process." (photo attached)

and when I try to double click the package, I receive the following:

I had colleagues that faced the same issue but they solved it by installing the WordServerComponents.msi. I tried it but it didn't work for me. Is there any solution to this problem?

    Are you sure you tried closing Studio and renaming folder '14.0.0.0' here:

    C:\Users\'USERNAME'\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\

    then opening Studio again? You need to have all files visible, by clicking here on the View tab of the Windows Explorer ribbon:

     

    Doesn't matter what you rename it. The folder will be recreated when you open Studio again and you can then delete the one you renamed.

    Otherwise, you can contact installation and licensing Support as this is basically an installation problem that is preventing you from working, because it occurred after installing SR1:

    Fill in all the details and make sure your email address is correct as this is how they will contact you. If needed, with your permission, they can connect to your computer to see what is causing this.
