Stubborn error messages after running Verify

Hi everyone. After running the Verify function on a completed translation, I am getting error messages similar to the following:

I can't seem to be able to get rid of these messages. Normally I would ignore these, except that in this particular case, once I have done a "Save Target As", the resulting Word file won't open and the makes reference to an unspecified error (see below). What can I do?

Line 2 does not (I think) refer to segment 2,sin ce this segment has no errors.

Thanks for any help.

  • Hi Esme Knights (EsmeKnights) ,

The error message in Word does not relate to the locations in a Studio file. But why not do the following and try again:

    1. Go to the first two errors in Studio and correct them
    2. Disconnect language cloud just to get rid of the error
    3. Save the target file and try and open it again

If it still fails, try this:

    1. Open the source file again as a new single file project
    2. Pre-translate from your TM
    3. Immediately save target again and try to open the file in Word

If the same problem occurs then can you share the source file and fully translated sdlxliff with me? I think if you still have the problem then it points to an issue with the new Word filetype.

    Regards
