I can't save my translation.

Question

Hello, 
 
 I have Trados 2017 running on Windows 10. I updated the programme around a week ago. 
 
 I can't save my translation. 
 
 I couldn't do Ctrl+A to select all and the programme kept crashing when I went from one segment to the next but then I renamed the folder c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14.0.0.0) and at least these problems were resolved but I STILL CAN'T SAVE. 
 
 I tried changing the file name. I tried deactivating my anti virus. I re-started my PC many times. Nothing works. 
 
 I can't save. I can't "save as". There are no error messages. It simply freezes as it tries to save and I have to ctrl alt del shut it all down.

Hi Basak Balkan , 
 
This sounds like a problem with your security software. Try turning off your antivirus for a short while and try to start Studio and save the translation again.

 Bashak said in his post that he already tried deactivating his antivirus. 
 So how about turning off all the new features? Disabling Fragment Match, Match Repair, upLift and LookAhead makes Studio run more reliably... 
 Here's where I turned off stuff when I found 2017 was very slow and crashed after updating to SR1 ...

The following setting under File>Options is also ticked under Project Settings (which overrule File_Options settings) 
 
 Likewise the setting is in both File>Options and under Project Settings: 
 
 Also if a TM has been recently created it will have fragment realignment turned on as default so here's where to turn off upLift if it's turned on:
