I am working on a document (55, 000 words) and have reached midway of the translation. All of a sudden I noticed that all the segments even the ones that I have not yet translated are marked as confirmed. This is causing me to mark each segment as draft and basically making my work very very tedious. How can I unconfirm the segments that I have yet to translate please?

I do not know why you may want "to unconfirm segments in bulk", but several times in the past I was faced with a translation incident where, after translating and confirming a segment, I found out that all the following segments up to the end of the file, either translated or not, had been set to "confirmed", an awkward situation which I had to remedy in the easiest and quickest of ways, as follows:

As far as I remember, it also worked with all segments, either auto-propagated, already translated or blank. Please tell me if I am wrong.

Yeah, it works, but but all those auto-propagated and translated segments would be then set as Not Translated. Probably not what is needed…

I agree, later I had to start a few auto-propagations again (but TMs are here for this purpose), and always better than getting stuck with a translation job wrongly declared as 100% completed, ¿no te parece?

This is really helpful. Thank you! But I wonder why this happens-- all segments not translated suddenly become confirmed... I can't believe it happened to me ( I thought I did something wrong on my own) until I read the posts here.
There is a bug in Editor, and still there in Trados Studio 2022: confirm multiple segments bug
Should this happen to you again, just press Ctrl+Z. If it is too late for undoing that step (after you press anything else in panic), you can just close the file without saving it to roll back to the recent autosaved version. When Trados confirms segments like this, it won't store them in TM. That means you would only have the segments stored in your TM that you confirmed manually and normally. All other unwantedly confirmed segments would revert to their initial condition.
What regards the root cause, it happens when you incidentally select the target text across two segments backwards. You can even not see any text selected in the previous segment but when you just slightly move your mouse over the previous segment with the left button pressed (unnoticed), it selects just one pixel and that is enough to cause the problem.
