Translation provider threw exception

Dear all,

I use Trados Studio 2015, while analyzing and pre-translating files, Trados gives me this error: "Translation provider threw exception".

This is a full error description.

Any suggestions, please? Many thanks in advance!

  • Dear Paul.
it seems it´s related with our generic TM which you kindly repaired a couple of months ago. I used a test empty TM and no error appears.
The TM that you repaired had corrupted units, but something does not go right since Trados does not pre-translate files via it.
It´s a file-based TM save on my local computer.
I tried to do following tasks:
    1. Repairing it once again (through a plug-in) but it remains "odd".
    2. I created an empty TM and upgraded it with a problematic TM (extracting TUs). A new output memory works nicely but...it has only 74 939 TU while the input problematic memory had about 130 000 TU!
Sincerely, I do not understand where the rest of TUs are...
    Thank you,
    Almira
