I use Studio 2017 last version last release. I can not confirm my translated segments, since I get always the same message "Der Objektverweis wurde nicht auf eine Objektinstanz festgelegt".

Could anyone tell me what to do ?

Hi Katia,
Sometimes, it is just enough to restart Studio. If that doesn't do the trick, go to View > Reset window layout.

Hi Katia Ajzenherc

Unfortunately such error messages are generic and dont on their own tell us the possible source.

Could you add the Stack trace/error file please to this post as this will help us identify the root cause

If you have reset Studio as advised-without resolution.

Please

1) make sure you have run the update in MultiTerm as well.

2) maybe try to recreate the project and running the source file through the existing TM-

are you then able to save?

My Multiterm is already updated and I tried to create a new projekt as you proposed, unfortunately without success: The problem is still there.

I am now pretty sure this is caused by a change in the verification process (File/Options/Verifications) and one of the sub commands.

However I am not an expert on this and hope my colleague Paul or another professional can help out on this.

Hi Paul,

thank you very much. I removed my termbases, but the error message ist still there.

The program shows now another error messages : Even if my termbases are all from French to German, it tells me that they do not contain the same langue combination (even if all my translations are from French to German).

For information: A couple of days before, I installed the App Web Lookup and since Trados shows not only error messages, but crashs on my computer every hour !

Please see attached the message errors and the error files.

Hi Katia Ajzenherc ,

The out of memory issue is due to the weblookup plugin. Most probably related to Linguee, Pons and Dilbert. If you don't use these sites in the tool then remove them. Also try editing your Internet Explorer settings; go to “Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom level" and disable active scripting. That may be the cause of your problem.

Hi Katia Ajzenherc ,

Did you mean Translation Memory and not termbase earlier too? Double check that your project is using exactly the same languages as your Translation Memory. If it isn't you can probably add your TM using AnyTM when you select your TM.

Hi Paul,
I checked both my TM's and my term bases, but all of them uses exactly the same language combination as me translations.

Nevertheless, I will install AnyTM, that is a exellent idea.

The error message "Objektverweis ..." is still there, so that I can not confirm the segments and enter them in my TM.

Hi @Katia,

Please try the following. Rename this folder (just add _old to the end or something, it's not important what you rename it to) and restart Studio:

c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14.0.0.0

If this doesn't help disable your AntiVirus temporarily and see if this makes any difference? If it doesn't then please log a support case. For licensing or installation issues that prevent you from working we have a route for all customers to get help. This can be achieved really quickly using this link:

gateway.sdl.com/liveagentlicensing

You have two options:

1. Submit a case using a webform
2. Use live chat to get a licence reset

You want to use the first option and make sure that you point to this thread and tell the support team all the things you have tried so far.
