Thanks for sending me the files to test.  I couldn’t do anything with them because they are locked down.  I couldn’t even edit them in Word.  So, I edited the underlying XML and unlocked the file.  Then it all handled as expected.

The way to unlock the files if you don’t have the password is this:

1. Save the DOCX as a Word XML document
2. Open the XML in a text editor
3. Search for w:enforcement="1" and replace it with w:enforcement="0"
4. Save the XML and open it up in Word again
5. Save the file as a DOCX and now everything should be editable
6. Open the file in Studio and you should be good to go

At least the test file I created from your files after using this approach allowed me to extract all the text for translation.  Once done you should probably reverse the process for the target file.
