How to find jobs requiring SDL Trados Studio?

So I've just bought SDL Trados Studio. Now, how do I find jobs requiring this tool?

  • Hi ,

The same way as you'd search for any job. For example use one of the many jobsites and add translation, language pair and SDL Trados Studio to your search info, or register yourself on translator websites, adding SDL Trados Studio to your keywords along with your language pair. You can find examples of the above sites using the search window of any internet browser such as Google or Edge.

You also don't need a client who requires that you use Studio, you just need to be working on files or packages in one of the very many formats that Studio can translate. To help you get started on using Studio, here's a link to the Studio Help pages:

    Studio 2017 Help

Also, a link to MultiTerm Help. If you haven't already, download and install MultiTerm so that you can create and work on termbases, i.e. glossaries, that you can also add to and change from within Studio:

    MultiTerm 2017 Help

I hope the above is helpful,

    All the best,
