I think the best thing for this is to set up a Regular Expression verification rule, where you use a grouped expression for the source and the condition to throw a warning or error if the source matches but no the target. Something like this, but with the right regex for your text, of course:

I've been using Number Verifier since it first came out and the BEST feature of it is the alphanumeric verification, it's SO useful!

However, lately I've found it flags up false positives and I end up trawling through a list of things that aren't wrong just to pick out the ones that are wrong... Paul am I missing something? I've repaired Studio and it still isn't giving me specific results. I guess I need to set up a separate thread on this...

It is very much the best tool for number checking apart from this one strange feature that wasn't there to begin with...

Maybe it's my settings...

Hi Nora,

That expression catches any alphanumeric combos even with spaces between them.

I use this one to detect alphanumerics consisting of just letters and numbers without spaces:
[A-Z][0-9]|[0-9][A-Z] with or without 'Case sensitive' set.

It is sometimes useful to be able to just scan through the alphanumerics without the complication of everything else visible.
