MacBook Pro disk space problems

Hello. I use a MacBook Pro divided with Parallels and am having disk space problems. Could anyone tell me please which files can be safely deleted and where I will find them? I use Trados 2017 SR1, Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac and macOS High Sierra 10.13.4.

I think we need to be clear here which files we are referring to before deleting.

If you have older Studio versions still installed and no longer work with these- you can remove these happily from your system as these are simply wasting space.

(via Windows control panel/Programs and Features).

However if you are referring to the project files/completed translations that you completed in previous versions, you must decide whether 1) delete from your machine or 2) transfer to an external hard drive (and then delete from the parallels virtual drive).

As with all computer programs - there are always 'temp' files left behind every time you use a program. These you can safely delete (after your programs have been shut down correctly and your work saved) either manually or using a proprietary software for example CCLEANER.

This temp files however in the grand scheme of things in this situation, wont really free up as much space as you need and I would therefore really suggest considering upgrading the HD
