hello,
i was using trados 2007 until last week. This week, we had trados 2015 studio installed on our machines. Now, we use ini (settings) files in trados 2007. I know that we can add them to 2015 too, but i cannot find the place where I can. we have about 8-9 different ini files for various product/document type.
Is there a way to add them?
any help will be greatly appreciated.

An 'ini' file is only used to store the tag definitions and would not normally be translated in Studio.
The translatable (file) in this instance would be I believe be a TTX file which Studio handles directly and does not require the 'ini' file.
If you need to save the original source file that was used to create the TTX, then simply save the ini file (in the same folder as the TTX?) which you can point to if prompted.

under File >> Options >> File Types a new file type / new file types can be created
for:
During filetype creation the *.ini file required can be integrated.
And, (in your case), you may create a separate file type for each *.ini you have. The priority of the respective file type may be increased or decreased by moving the selected file type up or down - also under File >> Options >> File Types so that it can be moved to the top of a respective file type before project creation.
