'Method not found' error message when trying to edit term from inside Studio 2017 Editor

Dear All, 
 
 When I try to edit a term or add another translation to an existing term from inside Studio v2017 Editor, I get the following cryptic message: 
 
 Any idea how this can be fixed? Closing and re-opening Trados does not seem to fix it. 
 I need to be able to add new terms and edit them, if I am going to continue using Trados.

 This is a known issue and has been discussed, a workaround suggested then a new script offered to solve the problem, here: 
 MultiTerm 2017 &ndash; error after the update to build 14.2.6.23267

I would recommend rolling back to CU5 and not using the script. It's been removed from the KB already as it's unlikely to resolve all cases and will require removal before applying the proper fix when it is released.

You can do this through the windows control panel. All windows updates (includes other applications) can be handled this way. In Programs and features use the installed updates link on the left and scroll through to the latest update, CU6, and uninstall it. This will leave the previous one in place.

The update is still broken, but the KB article fixing it after the update has been updated: 
 
 gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge 
 
So you should be able to take the update and then fix it with this script if you still have a problem. There will be a proper fix in the next update (no timelines yet).
