Number localization

Question

My Trados Studio 2017 has not been localizing numbers properly of late. For example, if I use "Ctrl+," numbers in target language remain the same a sin source language. It does not propagate properly either and I have to correct them manually.

Normally quickplace (CTRL+,) should auto-localize based on your project languages- 
So any further information you can provide would help greatly. 
Are all numbers not being localised correctly? or is it certain numbers/times dates/currency? or even alphanumeric strings maybe? 
 
Could you post a screen shot so we can see what is actually happening and visualise the issue please.

 I have just run a test, using the text in this thread as an example where I have been able to include Machine translation, Translation Memory and placeables. 
 As you can see- I an unable to replicate the errors-

Could you please check your settings as follows

Please, also check if this is all correct- the exact language variants of the project in question.

I have tried various options and settings both in the projects and global settings but simply cannot replicate this issue. 
 
Without a sample file to test it really makes finding a solution rather complicated. 
Of course I understand you cannot send the original files (confidentiality) but are you able to create a simple test file from the original and anonymise any important/personal data? 
 
The only other suggestions are maybe to 'reset window layout' in Studio and the VIEW tab (resolves many unexplained issues) 
- or even possibly a full Studio reset- 
 
The easiest way would be to install the following FreshStart app-

Here you can see the two different behaviors depending on the target language variant. 
 Spanish for Spain (ES-ES) 
 
 Spanish for Mexico (ES-MX)
