Dear friends,
Could you please help solve the following issue with my Studio 2017:
For a reason I am not able to understand the "Find" function in the ribbon of studio 2017 has suddenly became disabled (grayed out). Actually the entire "Edit" group of the ribbon is disabled. Please see the attached screenshot.
Can you please help me to solve it?

I am not quite sure what the issue is that you are having.
In your screen shot the 'Find and Replace' function appears to be active-
Just click on the little black triangle and you should then see the whole box-

I have tried this solution prior to posting my reqest. It didn't work. what you see is the "find" command that can be opened to "find next" and "find previuos" all of which are disabled. I am sending another screen shot just to demonstrate the situation.

From the screen shot it is unclear as to whether you have placed the cursor into a target segment
If you have- then I suggest resetting the Windows Layout which often resolves mysterious and unexplained occurrences.
Also please close Studio and then reopen.

Hi Steven,
I am still in trouble,
However, I found out that when I klick on the "find" icon, the Find window opens as a secondary window to the Stidio window. This secondary window can't be opened, maximized or moved. The only option is to close it. This means that we must look elsewhere for a solution. I will wellcome any!
