Sudden status change as "translated" for remaining untranslated text?! What happened?!

Question

Dear Trados Natives, 
 I've just started off on this Trados translation journey and was plugging along when suddenly all my remaining untranslated text segments received in the Translation Details (Middle column) the Status: translated. Which they are not! What has happened? Perhaps I have done something without knowing it... I would be grateful for all help or tips.

Well, that can be tricky... I am not sure, but you could try to use display filter. 
First try this 
^$ 
Select the target side o be filtered. 
If that does not do the job, try this 
^.+$ 
Then select all the segments and press CTRL+L to lock them. 
Clear the filter, from the filter categories select "Unlocked", select them all, change status to not translated. Then change the filter to "Locked", select again all segments and unlock them by pressing CTRL+L. 
Reset filter and everything should be back to normal.

Selecting segments: 
After having filtered the segments, click the number of the first segment in the left column. 
Scroll down to the last segment. 
Keep SHIFT pressed and click the number of the last segment shown. 
The segments should get a yellow background. 
Now DO NOT MOVE the mouse pointer from the number column, just right click there and press CTRL+L to lock them. You do not press the capital L, but I must enter capital L here to distinguish it from the letter "i"... 
This way the segments are now locked. 
Then press simply the text (button) "Reset Filters", which appears below the box you entered the regular expression. 
Next step: filter by unlocked segments, select them and change the segment status as desired. 
And so on...

There is a shortcut for doing so, which you obviously accidentally pressed. 
Please go to File -> Options -> Keyboard shortcuts -> Confirm all and remove the shortcut present there. 
 
For your file: the easiest way to get rid of the confirmed segments is to close the file without saving.

No problem :) 
When you call the Review tab, you will see the Display filter with an empty box, where you can enter text. 
Copy & paste the regular expressions given here into that very box and press enter. This will apply the filter.

So the ^$ is not achieving what I wanted, sorry. 
Then reset the filter please, use this 
^.+$ 
And follow the other steps I described.
