Show markup under track changes comes up automatically

Hi, first time here. I just downloaded te last update of my SDL 2019. Now when I use Track changes to review a document, the option "show markup" comes back up automatically as soon as I start editing, I change it to "no markup" and again it changes back to "show markup" when I edit another segment. This is very annoying, and time consuming. Any ideas of why is happening? Is this a glitch? how do I report it and get it fix? Thanks!

  • Hi All! I installed Studio 2019 this week and today I started working on my first revision in this version, and my blood boiled immediately when the "Show Markup" option came immediately on after I clicked on the next segment. Like my colleagues, I do not understand how enabling "No Markup" and allowing it to stay can cause problems to anyone. I work on a revision in "No Markup" and then switch to "Show Markup" for an additional check. Software developers should assume that the users of their product are intelligent beings, capable of moving around the product and enabling/disabling product options AT WILL. They way the "Show Markup" reappears is super counterproductive and annoying, and I really hope SDL will be able to patch this bug (yes, to me this is a bug). So, in summary, I just wanted to add my opinion to the discussion to show that more people are furious about this feature. Apologies for maybe strong words but I got super angry with this ;-) Waiting for the patch! Best!
