Why i can't merge segments even after allowing source edit?

Question

Hi everyone, 
 i got a lot of sentences split into various segments insted of one, I kept trying to merge segments and i have allowed the source edit but in vain. Anyone have an idea about this problem?

Please note that only those segments can be merged together which are part of the same paragraph in the source document, i.e. they are not separated with hard returns. Otherwise it would be a structural change which is not supported. 
 
Therefore maybe try editing the original source document if possible, to remove those hard returns from certain places for example, and then Studio will be able to merge those sentences to one segment.
