i got a lot of sentences split into various segments insted of one, I kept trying to merge segments and i have allowed the source edit but in vain. Anyone have an idea about this problem?

Studio 2019 has the option of merging across paragraphs - I though that was merging text in segments separated by hard returns. Or am I wrong?
However, merging can lead to corruption of the SDLXLIFF file, which is why I would try to get your segmentation rules set up so that merging or splitting segments is a rare exception.
