Better/more accurate use of Numbers QA verification for Japanese to English translation

A side note from another post I made, I want to activate the Numbers verification to make sure the same numbers from the source side are brought to the target side. I had a couple of errors that would've been embarrassing if they weren't caught.

So I'm turning this notification on:

Trados Studio project settings window with 'Numbers' verification option set to 'Error'.

And I verify my document then realize why I turned this setting off is because I get more false positives than actual positives.

Here's an actual positive (how I want it to work)

Trados Studio verification message showing a correct number match between source and target segments.

But here are several false positives that I can't explain.

Trados Studio verification message showing a false positive error for number mismatch.

Trados Studio interface displaying multiple false positive number verification errors in the translation results.

Trados Studio screenshot showing several number verification errors, likely false positives, in a translated document.

Trados Studio error list with multiple false positive number verification errors in a translation project.

And on and on... 95% of the errors were false positives and I would ignore.
Why are these being flagged?
Is there any way to tinker?
What would be your advice for wanting to use this function without being overloaded by false positives?
Would you turn this off?

Open to any advice/suggestions.

Thank you.
