Write in arabic and english in the same Excel cell and conserve the right sense of English

Hello,

I have an excel file, which contain arabic translation, but we need to let the English references in English!  The problem is that in Excel file, the English content doesn't stay in the right sense !!

Do you have any suggest (Formula ?) to lock or block the english content with arabic one ?

Thank you

Nora

  • I copied your source and translated like this:

Trados Studio interface showing a source text segment with a left to right marker inserted.

Note the left to right marker I inserted into the text in Studio.  When I save the target file I see this:

Trados Studio interface displaying a warning message about the target file after saving.

It's very hard for me to know if this is correct or not, but I think it's what you wanted to achieve.  Does it help if you add the Left to Right marker as Evzen suggested, and as Shai explains in the detailed article I shared?
