Hello,
Is there a way to translate the file and generate the analysis in one go, or do I have to create a project for each sheet?
Thank you in advance.

Have you tried it? The default is to handle the file. Just add it to your project.

Hi Paul,
The file contains comments and other details in each sheet that should not be translated and the columns to translate in each sheet are different. I have added the file to my project, it opened the first sheet with all the details and comments, without the other sheet. So I translated each sheet as a bilingual excel. To my surprise, when I saved the second sheet, I found out that the file contains both sheets translation. Is there another way to do it?
This sounds very odd. Please try creating a dummy Excel workbook with multiple sheets, and then see if it works as I suggested. If it doesn't can you share this dummy file with me to test?
If it does then I think yo need to look more closefly at the Excel file itself to find a reason why the content would not be extracted. If you're allowed to share this you can email it to pfilkin@sdl.com and I'll happily take a look.

So I translated each sheet as a bilingual excel.
Just a thought... when you add the entire workbook are you using the bilngual excel filetype for this? If you are then that's the problem. This only works a single sheet at a time as there is no mechanism for having different settings per sheet.

Hi Paul,
I have sent a file to the email you mentioned. Thank you for your assistance.
Thanks for sending me a file... I created a short...ish video and sent it to you. Should explain the process. Basic idea was this:
I hope that helps.
For anyone else wondering... I had another question testerday that wasn't exactly the same as this one but was about using the bilingual excel filetype and handling colours. So I used the DSI Viewer, a bit or beginner Excel, and the Community Advanced Display Filter to handle it. Might be a useful reference here too:
