Hello,
When I use NMT (Neural Machine Translation), Trados Studio often slows down when moving to the next untranslated segment (preceded by a confirmed segment) and the message "Generating preview" is displayed in the lower left corner. Sometimes I have to wait quite a long time until Studio jumps to the next segment.
I have reinstalled and reset Studio, to no avail.
Any idea?

I'm unable to replicate this on my machine using various files- so I'm wondering whether they maybe something else causing the issue.
Are you using any other MT providers? Which apps do you have installed?
If you create a test project and use only NMT- do the issues still arise?
Maybe posting a couple of screenshots might provide clues to the source of the issue

I do not use any other MT providers. My installed apps: Apply Studio Project Template, Capybara.EditorPlugin.Regex, Community Advanced Display Filter, Variables Manager, Web Lookup, WebVTT FileType.
I tested it on other projects as well. The same problem arises if I use only NMT. the more number of confirmed (pretranslated) segments Studio has to skip, the longer Studio is interrupted. Sometimes it even freezes.
When I disable SDL Language Cloud under Translation Memory and Automated Translation, the problem is gone.

Update: This issue occurs only when "Confirm and Translate until Next Fuzzy Match" is applied. "Confirm and Move to Next Segment" works fine - no "Generating preview" at all.
I can confirm (and commiserate). When using NMT (I use the Language Weaver plugin), I get exactly the same unwanted result as Sandor. I've not yet been able to wait that long until Studio restarts in a new segment (the longest I've waited was about 30 minutes before exiting using Task Manager).
This is not a shortcut issue: I've gone through the keyboard shortcuts and modified/deleted most of them.
This is not a broadband issue as I'm on the corporate network working in the office (and thus not through a VPN).
Could it be something to do with the Language Weaver plugin? I will try and find/reinstall the 'old' SDL MT Cloud plugin and see what happens.
