Support helped me quite quickly to get back in, but my memory was corrupted and unuseable. Support did not tell me if I can repair the memory or why this occurred.
Can you provide a few more details around this please?

Hi Paul,
None of the above.
I do have to say that the memory was a backup from an external drive, but it is sitting locally.
I have been working with Trados for about 12 years and using only one memory for everything. Consequently my memory is very large. I wish I could split the memory, but not sure how to do that.
Anyway, I find it very concerning that I am receiving that message. I just finished translating a 35,000 word file. Despite the message, nothing happened, but I was scared to death something would.
I would be happy to provide you with any more details.
Have to say that the problems occurred after updating memory and after updating SDL Studio. I can't remember which I did first.
Thanks, Dafna

amazing.. for 12 long years with one TM only ? how's the size of it ?
Hi Adrian,
To be precise 3,899,296 KB as of yesterday.
I have several versions of basically the same memory - almost as big but older.
I don't know what to do about it. After 12 years, I am just learning to use SDL Studio properly.
Up until recently was opening projects with no name and certainly did not set up filters.
If there was a way to chop off the first five years of the memory I would do it. Don't know if that is possible, And actually, quite afraid to handle the memories. The last time I updated the memory, it turned out to be a disaster. The memory became corrupt and unusable.
Any thoughts about this problem?
Thanks in advance, Dafna
400 MB... hmmm..
that is....... cute size.
Yap, why not.
There are lots of ways to achieve your goal with easy.
Should you have any questions, post it here.
Lots of people will help you, including SDL experts for sure.
Good Luck To You
-the biggest one of mine is 800 MB only.
Hi,
doesn't that create a problem for you? working with a 800MB monster?
Does it slow down your work?
My SDL Studio is not performing 100%, and that is after I just bought a very powerful computer.
I thought that the memory could be problematic.
Good luck to you as well, Dafna
Technically (I do not know what's this wordings exactly though),
SDL TM's limitation is said 140 TeraByte(140,000,000 MegaByte)
