Interestingly we were asked to remove this a year or so ago.. so we did.  Then had an overwhelming request to put it back.  It's only a click and serves to make sure you're sure before clicking on ok.  There is no undo!

I guess if you manually change the settings all the time it might be nice with a warning. But when only using project templates it makes no sense. You say there is no undo, but I only have to return to the last template to get back the settings.
