My Trados Studio 2017 Freelance doesn´t open anymore. I have restarted the computer, same thing. I also can´t seem to log into my SDL account to download the thing again (although I´m logged in here), all very bizarre. Any ideas what might be going on? Thank you,

This sounds like it might have been triggered by a Windows update...
So I suggest you try a Windows Repair of Studio and MultiTerm components, as here:
installation and licensing help
Select 'Installation' from the 'Case type' dropdown menu.
Someone will help in the next day or two if you give your correct email address.

Thank you so much for the prompt response, and that on a Sunday! The repair didn´t work and the download for reinstallation (I can properly access my account now, so that´s progress) is an older version than what I have running on my machine for some reason. So I suppose the download files in the account don´t get updated when new software updates come out?

Is it safe to uninstall the current Trados on my computer to the install the older version from the download from my account or will I lose the current work? I suppose the Translation Memory will still be available when I reinstall the older version? My hope is that the older version will then prompt me that there is a newer version available and allow me to update... Thank you
