Very thin menu column in Project Settings in Trados Studio 2019 SR2

Question

In Project Settings, the left column with the various pages is always very skinny, meaning the entries are always cut off. I can make it wider on an ad-hoc basis, but it always resets to being skinny next time, which is very annoying. It seems like the software should prevent this from happening, or at least default to a width that allows everything to fit on the screen. I have a 4K Ultra HD screen (3840x2160), so there are plenty of pixels to work with.

 This may be caused by your display resolution, 3840x2160 
 My display resolution is 1920x1080 and here's how my project settings look by default. Like you, I can widen the left hand pane but it resets each time but the contents are already more visible with the default setting: 
 
 As a test, try changing your Windows display resolution here: 
 
 It will be interesting to see if a different resolution produces different results...

 I havent seen this type of behaviour before- but are pretty certain that this has nothing to do with pixels/4K as this normally results in compression and unreadable text. 
 As you are able to -

 Then i suggest that something has become corrupted with the installation 
 I would therefore try repairing/resetting Studio
