If you have a copy of Adobe Illustrator you can Export the *.ai file as a *.psd and then Studio can deal with it as we have a Photoshop filetype in the latest release.  If yo don't and you'd like to test this feel free to send me your *.ai file and I'll do this for you to test.  Or, just ask your customer to export as Photoshop PSD instead.

On the *.cdr.  I believe this is Corel Draw and Adobe Illustrator can also open these.  So you may be able to take the same approach as for the *.ai files.

We get these files regularly and the workarounds are not ery promising (.psd seems to throw errors on finalization sometimes).

I guess this depends on how many others get these files regularly.  Patrik Mazanek would be able to advise if this is even on his radar.

Failing that you always have the option to employ a developer to create one using the Studio API.  Might give you some competitive advantage and be worth the cost if there is no interest from anyone else.

Given that the question has come up several times over the last ten years, I believe there could be a certain need.

Several times in 10-years wouldn't exactly provide a good return on the investment required to do this!  Perhaps raise this in the ideas site and see if you get some interest from others:
