Check the validity of your TMX file - I had similar case today, where Studio would not accept a TMX for upgrade and delivered errors when importing. The TMX was not valid, I checked with a TMX validator I downloaded from the internet. You can also download the free Okapi Olifant tool, then open the TMX there and save under a new name. Usually this will resolve all problems or show, that your TMX is damaged.

Apart from checking the TMX validity as Jerzy mentions, check also the language codes in your TMX.
It could be they are weird, or just not known to Studio.

Thank you both! I don't think the languages should be weird (they are my usual combinations). I will try checking the tmx files.

I'm having the same problem. The language codes are correct and I downloaded TMXVaidator and it also says that the TM is fine. Did you find a solution, Lucia?

What languages are in your SDLTM?

What is the exact message you get... a screenshot might be useful.

Hi Paul,

I just solved it: the source language code was correct (I had been looking out for en-US when my SDLTM is en-GB) but for some reason, all the target language segments also had an en-GB language code.

I went through the file and changed the language codes of the target segments to sv-SE and now the import has worked.
