Hi, this is very strange and I cannot find an explanation
Reviewing a translation from Italian to English, I noticed a translation mistake due to auto-propagation
These are the two sentences.
Tempo stabilizzazione prova ON/OFF (BASSA PRESSIONE): è il tempo di attesa, dopo l’immissione, della stabilizzazione dell’aria all’interno del pezzo prima di iniziare a misurare la perdita eventuale.
Tempo stabilizzazione prova ON/OFF (ALTA PRESSIONE): è il tempo di attesa, dopo l’immissione, della stabilizzazione dell’aria all’interno del pezzo prima di iniziare a misurare la perdita eventuale.
A single word is different BASSA (low) in one sentence, ALTA (high) in the other sentence
After confirming the translation of the first sentence, it was auto-propagated to the second sentence generating a translation error (ALTA PRESSIONE is translated as LOW PRESSURE instead of HIGH PRESSURE).
I suspected some settings of the TM, so I have tested the same sentences in a project with no TM and the behaviour is the same.
If I replace BASSA with bassa and ALTA with alta in the source text, there is no auto-propagation, so it must be something related to capitalization
Are BASSA and ALTA recognized as variables? Why?
These are my auto-propagation settings
Stefano
