SDL Machine Translation Cloud + fr-CA-> en-CA

Hello,

We used to use BeGlobal. We used to be able to translate fr-CA->en-CA without any problem.

BeGlobal is not replaced by SDL Machine Translation Cloud, which does not support this language pair. Our memories are fr-CA->en-CA, so changing source and target language is not an option.

We have tried using AnyTM: Any other translation provider. We succeeded in adding the Provider to the project settings, but the NMT is not generating anything in Editor mode.

Are there any workarounds? This is frustrating.

Any help and suggestion would be very welcomed!

    I am not sure what you are referring to with the versions. We are using the most current versions of Studio and the plug-in.

    We use SDL Trados Studio 2019 Professional, SR2 version 15.2.6.2831. We have downloaded the latest version of the plug-in from the SDL AppStore, version 3.1.1.2.

    We can use the machine translation in en-CA->fr-CA just fine, but not the other way around.

    When we try to add it to a fr-CA->en-CA project, we get a message that this language pair is not supported and to try using AnyTM: Any other translation provider. Only then can we have the provider added to the project, but it won't give any results.

    BeGlobal did not require any complicated procedure to work in fr-CA->en-CA.
