Can you open the file as a new project?

Hi Paul, I have just tried that and I got a couple of glitches when Trados started the file preparation, first a flashing cursor and then with Apply PerfectMatch, Pre-translate Files and Analyze Files hanging at 67% and taking 10 minutes to reach 79% (strange) and finally hanging at 94% for 20 minutes. I gave up testing at that point. So, I guess you are right and there is something wrong with the PP file but it plays okay in PP.

What powerpoint filetype in Studio are you using? Maybe you can use a different one?

Hi Paul, Thanks for your quick responses.
The source file is *.pptx, and the file type selected in the project seems to be Microsoft PowerPoint 2007-2019, which covers *.pptx;*.ppsx;*.potx;*.pptm;*.potm;*.ppsm. The original file was a little slow to prepare but worked fine. This is the same PP presentation text with only one added text box in the first slide. So, I do not think the type is wrong. However this file does include  lot of table data that I do not have to work on. So, maybe something in that is corrupted. I guess I will have to put it down to a faulty source file. Luckily the added text was short, so I could translate manually in the PP doc.
