「このインストールでは設定されていない言語が含まれているため、パッケージ "XX.sdlppx" を開くことができませんでした。」

Hi,

When I tried to open an EN-US > JA package, an error message「このインストールでは設定されていない言語が含まれているため、パッケージ "XX.sdlppx" を開くことができませんでした。」was appeared.

After clicking OK button in the pane that displayed the error massage, another error message was appeared: オブジェクト参照がオブジェクト インスタンスに設定されていません。

I can open other EN-US > JA packages successfully.

I placed the "XX.sdlppx" package on the desktop, C drive, or D drive, then tried to open it, but failed.

Also, repaired Studio with SDL Chainer and reinstalled Studio, but I couldn't open the package.

Could you please tell me why I cannot open this package and what I need to do to open the package?

Thanks in advance,

Parents
  • If I translate the message it says this:

"The package "XX.sdlppx" could not be opened because it contains a language that is not configured for this installation."

I think the message is quite explanatory.  The package you have received is either a multilingual package with languages in there that you do not have available to you in your setup, or it's one language pair and you don't have one or both of the languages in it.

    Or... it's a bug!

Can you add .zip to the end of package like this:

    XX.sdlppx.zip

Then open it and provide a screenshot of what you see.  Just the folder names... there won't be anything confidential in that.
