What your screenshot is showing is a 100% concordance match for the selected text, which is not the same as a 100% match for the active segment from the TM. Is the entire segment stored in your TM as a 100% match? Maybe you could share a screenshot of the TM view.

Text in the Concordance window (Dieser Wellnessbereich ↵ belebt unsere Sinne) is the same as the Source text, so it should be a 100% match.

Apart from the test proposed by Jerzy and checking TM's paths & names, I'm running out of ideas.

The concordance lookup is only for "belebt unsere Sinne", which is a 100% Concordance match, but not necessarily a 100% TM match.

I've created a scenario to replicate this with some nonsensical translations here:

Here, I've created a document with only 3 segments and a new TM that contains only the "translation" (makes no sense, I know) for segment 2. When I go back to segment 1 and select "belebt unsere Sinne", I get a 100% Concordance match, but of course I get nothing in the TM results, because segment 1 is below the 70% threshold to get a TM match.

Here's a screenshot of the contents of the TM:

I think it would be interesting to see a screenshot of Isabelle's TM like the one above, to see what her TM actually contains. Of course, her TM would not be as empty as this one, so a search for "belebt unsere Sinne" would be a good idea to see whether there's actually a translation unit that would match her segment.

OK, the selected text for concordance was only "belebt unsere Sinne", but notice that the second match shows exactly the same text as the Source:

The first match is the same text with some added tags.

Jerzy has the right idea,I suppose. I did an experiment now:

I create a new project without project TMs:

- I create TM 1 with an import from before the last project, because in the meantime I have finished the project and my "real" TM now contains all segments, so I'm sure, "belebt unsere Sinne" is not inside

here the proof:

- 2d TM in the project is from my colleague, it contains "belebt unsere Sinne" twice, one with and one without tags:

so far so good.

Now I translate, I searched the segment with belebt:

Here the result in Editor - tataaa!

after that, I take DeepL in the project, without penalty:

and the result is the same:

Conclusion: DeepL is not the problem but the project-TM.

Question: I always used the option with project-TM, because at the beginning from Studio, somebody explains me it's more safe to work with project_TMs because you don't write directly in the master TM but I'm not sure if it's really important. What do you say about that?

It will take a little bit time, untill I work again with colleagues but I will report, if it works better this way. Or let's say: if I do not post anything anymore, than it was the solution and all things are good again. Otherwise I will ask again in a new post, ok?

You can continue using PTM, as in my opinion this is not a bad way to work.

You only need to make sure, that the project TMs are created AFTER you updated all your ressources. Otherwise the main TM will contain the new segments, while the project TM has the status from the date you prepared the project.

The explanation of why and how to work with PTM is for me too long to write here in forum. If you wish, contact me directly and we can discuss off-forum.
