Any Support available?

I was redirected from contact form to here.

Nothing works on your platform. I am totally unsatisfied with your product.
I tried deinstalling the product and installing it again and it had saved all previous settings. It was of no use.
I read that there is a standalone installation called Freshstart. Tried that one also. And it doesn't work either. After restoring the files, everything is back as it was.
Your product has lost me much more time in figuring out how to fix my problems than it has helped me in translation.
Current issue - AnyTM doesn't work at all. Supposedly I have to be able to translate files in both directions. I have translated a BG-EN file and when I added an English file to the project - nothing happens. It doesn't create another reversed memory file. Google API gives me results in English, instead of in Bulgarian.
I would like to delete everything and install it anew without any bugs present. Is there any way except complete PC reinstallation?

  • Being frustrated is no help at all. As any tool, Studio requires a very systematic approach.

For a fresh start use the information here: https://gateway.rws.com/csm?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0039395. You can also download this: https://appstore.sdl.com/language/app/sdl-freshstart/876/

Finally you can use Regedit to delete all SDL related entries (please be careful when using this tool, it modifies Windows and may harm the system, if used unproperly).

When you have uninstalled all SDL related software, download the latest installer modules from your SDL account. Store them on your HDD, then copy each (Studio and MultiTerm) on your desktop. Here right click each (Studio first, then MultiTerm) and chose "Run as administrator". This way the software will be installed with the necessary rights.

And before you start translating, check some reference materials, handbooks or tutorials. Studio demands systematic work, doing things just so without having a scenario what shall be done may cause chaos and this is only hard to manage afterwards.
