Help! My TM corrupted in the middle of translating and nothing is fixing it!

IError message in Trados Studio 2019 stating 'The translation memory may be in use, could not be accessed.'

I've tried renaming/deleting the repository. I've tried running a repair with the TMRepair add-in. I can't export it into a TMX because Trados won't let me open it to export it. I am using Trados 2019.

Any ideas?

Thanks

  • If the TM was fully new, when you started, just remove this one from the project, create a new one and then update it via Batch task "update main translation memories". This way all the translations from this job will be in TM.

Should this TM contain more than this job, update it via importing the sdlxliff files from previous jobs.

But why not use your TM from the latest backup you certainly have created yesterday?
