Why the selection box(es) of Translation Memory and Automated Translation are unticked?

After upgrading to the SDL Trados Studio 2021 16.0.1.2917, the selection box(es) of Translation Memory and Automated Translation are automatically unticked if opening Project Settings -> Language Pairs -> All Language Pairs (or the language pair of project) -> Translation Memory and Automated Translation. 
 Before these were automatically ticked. 
 When opening the translatable file(s), all added translation memories appear and work as usual in the Translation Results section of Editor.

 Yes... I'd have to say these do seem to work in a little bit of an odd way and I always select when I shouldn't and don't select when I should! However, these boxes are not determining whether the TM is enabled or not. That's what these are for: 
 
 Exactly the same as for previous versions. But if you look at the menu you see this: 
 
 "Remove" is greyed out. If you select one or more: 
 
 "Remove" is available and other features are now greyed out. This is new in 2021 and allows you to more easily remove your TMs.
