Trados 2019 System.OutOfMemoryException while creating 150MB Powerpoint based project

Hi,

We just wanted to create a project with .pptx file, which size is 150MB.

We cannot finish the project. The error pops up saying System.OutOfMemoryException.
We have tried on 8GB, 16GB and 32GB computers. As I can see Trados only reaches around 3GB of RAM and then the project is DEAD.

I guess there is a problem with Trados 2017 and 2019 - is it only a 32-bit application? What is wrong with SDL? Does it seriously support max of 3,5GB of RAM in 2019?
Please let us know - we asked our collagues to split the file into smaller parts but I think it should not work like that.

    Hello ,

    Its always a good idea to post the full error stack as an XML file as we can't see the full error stack in this screenshot.

    Although Studio is a 32 BIT application, running a 64BIT OS, will allow Windows to utilize more of the available RAM- especially as you will be running other applications alongside Studio.

    This article  explains the in more detail and also links to a Microsoft article on physical limitations-

    The reason your post was moderated is because you didn't follow the instructions from Steve... this frustrates you and creates work for us.  If you add it as an xml file attached to your post it won't happen... like this:
