I got multiples error messages after updating to SDL Trados Studio 2021 SR1 - 16.1.2.4090.
They call for an error coming from the "TM name" I am using, not from the "translation provider

These errors are pretty vague, but I would suggest trying to turn off fragment matching and seeing if that helps.
The reason I say this, the main new feature "Auto-Insert Tags" uses Fragment Matching technology.
My Fragment matching was off on a new project I received from a client. I added my TMs to the project and when opened, I got the block of errors, and up to my surprise, the error refers to another TM not used in this project ???
I checked your solution and could not turn off fragment matching as it was already off in this project.
By the way, I cannot insert the screenshot (Insert Image/video file brings a popup I cannot use to insert the image?
Someone with the same error as you posted about the problem. I suggest upgrading your TMs as they suggested:

As for inserting screenshots, have you tried directly pasting it?
I upgraded my TM long time ago as I upgraded all my version of Trados Studio, so this is not a relevant.suggestion.
I have tried again pasting my image and this time it works.
See at the top the multiple errors related to the TM I got earlier.
Since that, the error messages are no longer showing up ???

I think upgrading your TM a long time ago is exactly relevant. Unless you did this after upgrading to SR1 which was only released yesterday, so not a long time ago? If not I suggest you run the upgrade now and try again.
If that doesn't work please try this:
Test with the new SDLTM and see if this works.

I think upgrading your TM a long time ago is exactly relevant. Unless you did this after upgrading to SR1 which was only released yesterday, so not a long time ago? If not I suggest you run the upgrade now and try again.
If that doesn't work please try this:

I have done anything yesterday and the "messages" windows is no longer populated with errors.
The only explanation would be that before I upgraded to SR1, I added one project coming from a client that was prepared with an old version of Trados, but this project did not have a TM and I created a new one before working on.
I have finished the project and closed it yesterday and it seems that solved the problem of having so many errors in the messages window.
Bas news, the error messages started to show up again in my current monthly project in which I have 2 large TMs in use, one I update and one I use without updating. I have therefore run the proposed sequence (export to TMX / create a new SDLTM / import the TM) and will keep an eye to the messages windows tomorrow when I resume my work.
To night I got 6 errors reported out of 14 segment translated.
Since I changed the name of the TM, I will know that the solution fails if the new name appears in the error description.
