and messed up in target file

Question

Hi all, I'm not sure this is the right place to write about this issue but I hope someone can help. While translating some html files into Japanese and Italian I noticed that all the instances of
were misplaced in the target files (more than 20 big files). Also, whenever there was in the text, it was replaced by which should be the same but our client complained about this. Is there a way to set this so that these tags are not misplaced? Actually in the editor they are not even visible so I can't control them.h Here is an example: Can someone help here? Hi Sandra, It may be that you have introduced this tag by using the quick insert feature instead of using the tags in the source. his is a good example of why it's not a good idea to translate in wysiwyg mode. If you press Ctrl+Shift+H you will probably see the tags appear in the source. You should then copy these over. wysiwyg is excellent for review as you have a clearer way to read the text, but it's asking for trouble when you translate. Normally quick insert tags will not be available unless Studio knows they should be ok, and with html is valid. However, if the system you are translating for doesn't like and only recognises then this will clearly be a problem. So always show the tags while working and always use the ones in the source and put them into the target. There is an article here that might be useful for you.
