First of all, I have been a Studio user for a good while (since the earliest versions), so I assume I know the basics. But yes, I did activate the segment.

Here, I created a translation project in Studio 2021 and bumped into this issue. I opened the exact same project in Studio 2019 and it works just fine... I guess the TM settings should be the same, since it's the same project (same path & folder on my hard drive).

I run into the same issue on different projects, not just one... I just noticed something, though. It might be related to server-based TMs. After a couple of tests, it seems to work when I disable them, and to bug as soon as I reenable remote TMs. So I guess there might be a setting I need to check here. And I will have to talk to my clients about it...

Hence my question related to what kind of project it is.  You said you created the project though... so presumably this means you are just accessing a server based TM on GroupShare?

Yes indeed! Now, do you have any idea why it acts like it? And why it would still act like it with settings that include server-based AND local TMs enabled at the same time? While I didn't get the client's answer yet, I can only think of the server settings, which are just fine (and the same between Studio 2019/2021)...

Just because I am having this same issue again on another project, and it doesn't seem to be related to server-based TMs this time, I will put a note here (also to myself, in case I get the issue again and look for a resolution online), here is what I did to solve it:
- Disabled all TMs, applied settings, reenabled local TM, applied settings. Didn't work
- Removed the project from Studio (Remove from List) and reloaded the same project again... It worked, both with local and server-based TMs enabled...
