Have just opened Trados to continue working on my project, Multiterm works, but after 3 sentences, I wanted to change an entry and become the following message:

"This entry is being processed by another user. Try again later"

Now I have to start Trados again for it to work properly.

Where exactly are the termbases stored? Locally or in the cloud?

If you are the only user that has access, then I would be looking at the Windows Defender/AntiVirus provider.

First ensure that Studio/MultiTerm are added to your AV providers 'exceptions list' and see if the issue persists.

If so, temporarily disable 'Windows Defender as this may also be blocking the resource.

The next step (if this fails to provide a solution) would be to use something like Lock Hunter https://lockhunter.com/ 

If the problem still persists, please provide the Windows Event Log files as this should shed light onto the issue.

All files are local and I am the only one that accesses them.
