version: trados 2021 SR1 - 16.1.3.4096
problem : font issue(ㅁㅁ)
There is function that change font option in trados.
But it does not works in some language( Republic of Korea)
my target area(and my basic font) can not express some language word like you can see the problem in image(kammaㅁㅁhāna)
Can you fix the bug of font issue?
I can not understand. Even some general text editor app can change font.
Please can you provide an sdlxliff with just that sentence in it?

I don't know what the problem is. But I can not upload the sdlxliff file. So I have uploaded docx original file. You can convert it.
When you convert this and move to the target(CTRL+ INSERT). You may see the right word. but If you add ( ) or to add () and press space, Font is changed to Unrecognized text(like ㅁㅁ).
I solve the big issue from font now. because if I save the file, it works well.(=right text)
But I still have anxiety about this issue. because I often handle the ancient language like pali, saṃskṛtā. And I have to type the special language to the target area too.
So please fix that bug(can't change font in some language). Our country trados sale person already know that bug.
I don't know what the problem is. But I can not upload the sdlxliff file.
Just zip it first.

I spoke to Yurim Bae and the reported bug seems to be CRQ-6943 for your information and to make it easier to reference later. The bug record suggests this is related to the use of certain custom fonts, such as Malgun Gothic and Noto Sans. Can you tell me what font you are using under File -> Options -> Editor -> Font Adaptation -> Custom Fonts and have you tried using a different one?

Thanks, Paul. I have tried. But it didn't help. I have found that if I change the font(korea), only translation result font change(as you can see in image). And font adaptation also did not works in English(Unite states) not only Malgun Gothic and Noto Sans but also several font. some font works well but not others. 
Many apologies... but please can you explain where the problem is shown in this new screenshot? It's very difficult for me to explain this to the development team because I cannot see any problems in there at all. It's clearly because I don't speak Korean, so all the help you can provide here to spell this out for me the better.

Thank you. So is this slightly different to the original post? Initially you reported corrupt chars in the target. Is this the result of not being able to change the font adaptation to use a compliant font or is this a different issue?
It may be that the problem is simply the wider issue that Korean font adaptation is not working and this is more important to get fixed than one or two particular fonts that may not work when selected. Small clarification, but it helps me to understand this better.

Yes. Paul. This is slightly different to the original post. Because I gave up to solve original problem. that is not big issue because I have found if I save the trados, original problem does not occur.
But font issue still can be critical for me. My default font can not recognize some word.
