LIFFT file

My Trados Studio is not generating the corresponding LIFFT file in the target language. Or, the file is being automatically generated somewhere in my computer where I cannot find it.

    I think it's better if you keep posting to the forum here, so anybody will be able to help.

    A couple of specific questions:

    • Please state the Trados Studio version & build number (you can see them in Help > About), the steps you do, and the expected and actual results.
    • If you have Trados Studio 2021 installed, did you create a live project in the cloud or a local project in your PC?
    • Why do you think you need to see a LIFFT file? I've never heard of this file type either, so I think it is wrong...

    Also, you need to explicitly generate the target file before seeing it: Select the file in Files view, select Batch tasks in the Home ribbon, then select Generate Target translations and click on the Finish button of the wizard.

    Once done, use the button Explore Containing folder button mentioned above to see the target file.
