Hi, 
 I've have this message error when trying to prepare my project in Trados.

The original Word document is 94774 words (.doxc). It's a book. 
 1) I first imported the all document but it gave me the error message. 
 2) So I split it in 6 parts. I could prepare six of them, but the last one still gave the same error message. 
 3) I split this last part in two parts. Part 6.1 ok, but part 6.2 still gives the same error message. 
 4) I deleted the images from this part: still the same error message. 
 5) I deleted the tables from this part: still the same error message. 
 6) I tried to save it as . doc (Word 97-2003) : still the same error message. 
 I don't know what to do. Could anyone help please?

 I've witnessed this as well in a 100-page Word document. It's a problem of formatting in the document&hellip; It was always a shitty character in the middle of a paragraph. 
 Halving the document as you have done and checking if that half is ok is the way to know where the problem is and then edit it in Word. You don't need to change the formatting of the whole document. For my 100-document, I think it took me less than a half and hour to solve the problem. 200 more pages shouldn't take much longer&hellip; 
 If you manage to clean the document at the exact problematic spot, you won't need to re-format the translated document.
