More ways of copying a TM match to the active segment?

Does anyone know if there is a way to copy a match to an active segment without overwriting the existing translation that I would like to keep?  For example, I get a 95% match where the difference is only one word and a colon in the new segment (Note: identical translation from the TM).  I would like to be able to attach the match after I type the translation of "Note:".

I also wonder if I can only copy a TM match in plain text without copying the tags in the match.  In most cases, the tags in the match are different from the new segment and it's time-consuming to delete these tags manually.

    First question: Directly not possible. However, you can switch to Translation results view using keyboard, select the match (CTRL+A), press CTRL+C for copy and then get back to the text with keyboard, where you paste the copied text by CTRL+V.

    Second question: When match is inserted, press CTRL+A and CTRL+Space bar subsequently. This will remove the whole formatting (i.e. tags) from the target segment.

    Hi Jerzy, thank you again for sharing your expertise! The copy and paste method does work, but I couldn't figure out how to use keyboard to quickly switch between the editor and the translation results window. Is there a keyboard combo for this function?
    For my second question, Ctrl+A and Ctrl+Space did not work, but the straight Ctrl+Alt+Space suggested by Paul did! I use Ctrl+Space to switch between Chinese/English input methods, and that's probably why Ctrl+Space does not do the job.
