When a paragraph is finalized by using "Cntl+Enter", "Cntl+Alt+Enter", or the like, the paragraph is added to Translation Memory.
However, when the paragraph is finalized by changing the status of the paragraph with right clicking, the paragraph is not added to the Translation Memory.
Although the status of the paragraph after the finalizations looks the same, what is a difference between these two finalizations ?

When you press the CTRL+ENTER shortcut to confirm the segment, the segment status changes, and you have this checkbox ticked in Options > Editor > Automation:
Then the TM is updated.
Same thing applies if you press the Confirm button in the ribbon:
But if you right click to change the status of the segment, you just do that: change the segment status. Notice that you can change it to Not Translated, so I believe that updating the TM doesn't make sense…
Confirming the segment is not the same as changing the segment status.

I agree confirming the segment is not the same as just changing the segment status, but I believe that right clicking to change the status of the segment to "Translated" would be the same as confirming the segment by pressing the Confirm button in the ribbon, since the same symbol indicating "confirmed" is used for the segment in both cases.
If there are any differences between these two confirmations, different symbols should be used to indicate that.
There is no problem for me:
The Confirm button states the word Confirm:
while the change status menu option doesn't:
Same thing about the Confirm button in the Review or Sign-off modes:

When we confirm the segment using the change status menu option, the segment is NOT added to Translation Memory.
This would be an important difference while the status after confirmation looks the same in each case.
I believe the segment should be also added to Translation Memory in the latter case.
